Reading the comments behind this week’s South Park censorship headlines when someone posted this video of author Philip Pullman fielding criticism on the title of his new book, The Good Man Jesus and the Scoundrel Christ.

I recently discovered the song Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and can’t get enough of it.   The energy and Jade’s voice are amazing.  Check out their KCRW performance too.

Trying to refresh my memory on how to do time lapses so nothing too special. Took a picture every 20 seconds and glued it together at 30 fps.

Scam School is bar social engineering at its finest!  I just learned the joys of non transitive dice and erasable ink pens.  I’m hooked!

I stopped by Andersons this afternoon after the Toledo VMWare Users Group meeting hoping to find some Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale which I’ve been meaning to try.   The place is a crazy hybrid of hardware and grocery store.   What impressed me most is the customer service of the meat counter.  The butcher introduced himself and asked how may I help you.   How awesome is that?! Check it out if you’re in the neighborhood.

I discovered the Running from Camera blog while poking around Reddit.  The premise is simple: set your camera for 2 seconds, run like hell and post the picture.

I’ve been trying to track down audio of the alerts from old Motorola pagers to use on my cell but haven’t had much luck until today.   Reminds me of the Leisure Suit Larry and Snafu midi files I used to use as ring tones.
